I think there is a lot of truth in this.


The difference between a "better than average" team and a good team are two things
1. A couple of more difference makers (maybe a top notch DE).
2. Coaching

I know we can solve one of these. Watching college football for many years now (and a lot of other teams), solving the second one is much harder. There are a few coaches who know how to focus a team and consistently put them in positions to win - finding them isn't easy.
